
You hit the nail on the head for my workflow as well. I was thinking (doesn’t happen often) that maybe when a Folder track is opened only the packed tracks become visible without the dummy folder track, then each opened ‘unpacked track’ would have a small (coloured for distinguishing status) open folder icon which, when clicked on, would toggle all the relevant tracks back into their packed folder state - see, that was easy! My workflow, probably not the best, involves frequent use of the ‘overview’ macro (mental note to self - must make more use of macros), which regulates the depth of the tracks in the arrange pane to fit the available screen space - I don’t think that constantly revising/minimizing the Folder track/s thickness would be very efficient - unsure if a scene would help here, I’ll investigate.
